Have you ever experienced a situation, judged it, and then realized it was actually a blessing in disguise? Why do people continue to judge one another and how do we break the conditioning of this habit? Is judgment day coming- and if so, will you participate?
Beliefs and patterns
Television is the number one tool used to instill judgment beliefs and patterns in humans. From movies to sitcoms to commercials, the image of what a “normal” person should look like is drilled into our brains. The “house with the white picket fence” was the theme of the 50’s and the contemporary cliff dwelling or high rise penthouse was the house of the 90’s. Programming and judgment can be found in every aspect of our lives.
Under Maritime Law, judges have the power to decide whether or not you deserve to be punished for your actions. They also can decide the fate of your future in whether or not you will serve time in jail. Of course, the policeman that arrested you judged whether or not it was your time to be arrested based on the quota he or she had to fulfill for the month. Why do some people like judges get full power and authority over our actions and who gave them the authority to decide the outcome of the rest of our lives?
If it’s in the bible, it must be true
A classic example of irony within religion can be seen with those who quote the bible yet seem to judge everyone that does not adhere to their way of thinking. Matthew 7 in the King James Version states:
“Judge not, that ye be not judged.
7~2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.”
It seems that the same people who preach this rule ironically say they leave it up to the big guy; that God is the ultimate judge. There are still many people who have an instilled knee jerk reaction to a person’s physical appearance and can put a label on someone without ever meeting them. If you are a guy, try walking into a country club with long hair and a tye-dyed t-shirt on, and observe and feel what people are thinking.
Revelation 20:11-15 says this about judgment day:
“Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”
Wow! If we were to believe what this says then the conclusion is that we are all “going to Hell in a hand basket”. If God loves everyone, why would we be placed in situations every day in which we have opportunities to judge if it would set us up for failure?
The spiritual and metaphysical genre is rampant with judgment about other’s beliefs. It is amazing how many people outright judge and criticize other’s comments on social media outlets like Facebook, Twitter, etc. You have not seen a good fight until you have seen the religious zealots call the Spiritualists, Wiccans, and Occultists “Satanists”.
Judgment vs. Observing
We all have spirit guides observing our choices along our life path without judgment and are always trying to nudge us toward the goals that we set out for ourselves.
Extraterrestrials observe human activity in order to learn about human behavior on Earth. Seeing things from a bigger picture, they know why this is called the “human experience”. Many of them do not have emotional bodies like humans do, which does not allow for the spectrum of judgment sparked by emotion.
We are all connected to our Creator, whether we know it or not. It is said that we were Created so that our Creator would have the experience of knowing itself . If this is true, why would Creator judge himself? When you look in the mirror, do you have judgments about what you see or do you have loving thoughts of your Creator? These are all comments meant to spark the observation of seeing things from a different perspective. After all, the perspective we currently have as a collective is not working too well.
Observing and judgment are different. If you find yourself talking about someone else, don’t panic for falling off of the spirituality wagon. Stop and observe how you are feeling about what you are saying. If you are merely pointing out observations, you will not have as much emotional attachment to it. Our heart knows the difference, and if you find yourself in judgment, think loving thoughts and send love to the person you were talking about. Love can change judgment to observance instantly. Finally, don’t fall into judgment of yourself by get too hung up in the fact that you “fell back into 3d judgment”.
NDE life review
Many people that have had near death experiences say that they had an instant life review upon returning to the other side of the veil. Some people felt like their guides gave them a gift to show them, without judgment, their life from an observer’s point of view. Some people have also reported being able to see a situation from someone else’s point of view that they encountered in their life and were able to feel and see what they experienced. Upon returning to their body, many people chose to treat people differently and some made drastic lifestyle changes.
People who had to go through near death experiences had a job to do. They volunteered to have that experience in order to bring back the truth that our souls do not die and hopefully would share that wisdom with the world. They also came back to share something so simple that it sometime gets lost in the world of complex spirituality terms: The Golden Rule. Could something as simple as the Golden Rule can actually spark the Golden Age?
The series of events
How many times have you looked back on a situation that happened to you and realized that at the time the event happened, it seemed like a huge inconvenience at the time, but turned out to be a blessing in disguise? For example, you may have had a frustrating series of events happen while getting ready for work that put you a few minutes behind schedule. You may have even stubbed your little toe in the process, which really put you in “that mood”. As you race down the highway to try to keep from being late to work, the car in front of you suddenly brakes and swerves to the right to miss a very large truck tire piece that was just ejected from an eighteen wheeler. Despite the effort, their car still gets hit and the tire piece gets deflected away from your car. You realize that a few minutes earlier, that could have been you hit by the tire.
That was a candy-coated example and most people have actually had the experience of seeing accidents happen right in front of them. Perhaps they were ten minutes late and realized that it could have been them involved in the multi-car pileup, or that could have been them loaded into that ambulance. How many times will this need to happen before we all get the hint?
Living in the “now” moment
When you have experiences that would normally trigger behavior such as letting a stubbed toe ruin your day, it is difficult to say “thank you Universe for allowing me to stub my toe and stop for a few minutes”, while clutching it in agony. However, with practice, you can find yourself asking “Why did this have to happen?” With practice you begin to answer yourself with “Well I’m sure there was a reason for it”, and you let it go.
When you begin to observe your own life unfolding rather than judging it with remarks like “Oh that’s just my luck, I’m a klutz”, then you begin to change your reality and these types of challenging experiences happen less and less.
Not only do the negative experiences become less frequent, but positive synchronicities begin to take their place. For example, maybe you run through a series of events the whole day that didn’t quite seem to make sense. You rolled with each situation in the now moment, accepting it in the moment. Later in the day, an astronomical coincidence occurs like running into a friend that lives on the other side of town in a store that you may only visit once every two weeks. On top of that, the friend has never been to that store before, and just decided to try it out that particular day, at that particular time. If that weren’t enough, as you begin talking you figure out exactly why you needed to talk to that friend and how every little oddity of the day brought you to that particular isle in the store at the exact moment they were there.
These synchronicities completely take the judgment out of the observation and are a fine example of living in the now moment. They are the Universe’s way of sending you confirmation that you are connected and on the right path.
Life is still veiled for some people, but not for long
As the planet continues to raise her vibration, humans are being accelerated as well. As this happens, the veils that keep us entrained in patterns begin to lift and we begin to see the bigger picture. The “ah ha” moments have just begun. More miracles are on the horizon, and we cannot imagine how amazing they will be.
If we all treated each other as we would like to be treated, with respect and love and without judgment, the world could change overnight.
Because we have been programmed by society on how to look, act, think, and feel in every aspect of our lives, it is one of the hardest things to overcome. This simply shows that it may be one of the most prevalent lessons we came here to learn, and makes us wonder if judgment is one of the biggest spiritual tools we have in our toolbox.
What we do on Earth is a microcosm of the macrocosm- the Universe and beyond. Before this society of Earth humans can join Galactic forces and counsels, they have to show that they will not be prejudiced towards another race of beings. This does not mean that they will not make choices based on observations. It does mean that they will respect the other beings as a creation of the same Creator that created everything.
To judge another is to judge your Creator, which is to judge yourself.
There is a fine line between lovingly speaking your truth in order to share it with the world and giving your opinion to prove someone else’s opinion is wrong. Opportunities are presented to us everywhere to help us learn this lesson so that we may advance as masters of ourselves.
Only when you go within your heart can you find the best way to deal with every situation. Ask yourself, “Is what I am about to say what I would like to hear if I were in their shoes”? We may not advance individually or as a human collective until we master this. Everyone is different yet since we are all connected one person can influence the behavior of many. Be the guy that accepts his differences and walks into a country club to have dinner without thinking about what others are thinking of him. Enjoy the dinner without judging the country club stigmata, and see who the Universe puts in your path that day. You will be in for a great surprise!
